From August 18 to 20, 2023 the second China (Ganzhou) Permanent magnet Motor Industry Innovation and Development Conference was successfully held in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province. The conference is co-sponsored by the Chinese Society of Electrotechnical Engineering, Jiangxi Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Ganzhou Municipal People’s Government, Ganjiang Innovation Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Rare Earth Group Co., LTD and Jiangxi University of Science and Technology. Wang Qiuliang, Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and researcher of Institute of Electrical Engineering of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Jia Limin, Vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Electrotechnical Engineering and Chief professor of the State Key Laboratory of Rail Transit Control and Safety of Beijing Jiaotong University, Li Yongdong, professor of the Department of Electrical Machinery of Tsinghua University and foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, were invited to attend the conference and give keynote reports. Mr. Xia Wenyong, Vice Governor of Jiangxi Provincial Government, Mr. Zeng Ping, Party Secretary of Jiangxi Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Mr. Qi Tao, Party Secretary and President of Ganjiang Institute of Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Mr. Li Kejian, Deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Ganzhou City, Mr. Xie Zhihong, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of China Rare Earth Group Co., LTD., Mr. Gong Yaoteng, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, and Mr. Tang Yunzhi, Standing Committee Member and Vice President of Jiangxi University of Science and Technology attended the conference.
